A Qualitative Recognition of Effective Elements in Decision Making Process in Deliberate Practice Curriculum

The purpose of the present study is to present a qualitative recognition of the effective elements in decision making process of the curriculum of deliberate practice. The research method is qualitative content analysis and the research community, scientific reliable documents and sources communicated with Schwab’s deliberate practice and the convenient sampling method was employed. The findings show that the curriculum of deliberate practice has four main elements of teacher, subject, student, and environment. The elements have sub-components including the development of professional skills of the teacher, arts of commitment, problem-finding, practical reflection, perception situation, situational learning, vocational training of students, fostering creativity, art, and aesthetics, . It is worth mentioning that adjusting the goals to the conditions and needs of society is considered as among the most important sub-component. Accordingly, the application of these components in the curriculum could facilitate the realization of educational goals in the present era.
