The Role of Science and Technology in the Development of Islamic Civilization in the Globalization Age

The purpose of the present study is to review the role of science and technology in the development in the age of globalization. The objective of this study is developmental-practical and its method is descriptive-analytic. In this regard, a mixed method along with the Delphi technique which is a great approach for managerial studies and better and deeper recognition of phenomena was used. For data collection, the field methods of interviewing the experts as well as document and library study methods were used. According to the research results, Islamic civilization during the globalization age has passed the appropriate path of growth and development in the best way possible using the potential of science and technology in society and that science and technology are the contributing factors of solidarity in Islamic civilization.
