Investigating the performance of cultural diplomacy in the Islamic Republic of Iran
Cultural diplomacy, as one of the effective methods and models for mutual understanding between states and nations, undoubtedly has wide capabilities in the proximity of nations, peace and, of course, the maximization of national interests and goals in the field of foreign policy. In particular, with the paradigmatic changes in diplomacy and foreign policy since the 1990s and its shift towards culturalism and the centrality of culture in foreign relations, as well as the emergence of issues such as soft power and public diplomacy and the peoples of the nations, this effect is far more Has a higher position. Therefore, this research is organized around the question of how the cultural diplomacy of the Islamic Republic works. The statistical population of this research is 200 people and the number of statistical samples has been determined using Cochran's formula of 62 people. The research has been done by descriptive-analytical method and based on 8 dimensions of doctrine, policy-making, planning, organizing, guiding, coordinating, implementing and implementing, monitoring and evaluation. Based on library resources and field research and based on the analysis of questionnaires, the research findings indicate that the cultural diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the dimension of medium to high doctrine, in terms of policy-making, planning, organizing, implementing and executing Medium to low, the direction of guidance was unfavorable and in the dimension of supervision was favorable.
