Intelligent Control Scheme of Asynchronous Generator-Based Dual-Rotor Wind Power System Under Different Working Conditions

This work presents an intelligent control of an asynchronous generator (AG)-based dual-rotor wind power system under different working conditions. AG faces two major drawbacks; Fluctuating output power and low voltage riding capacity. To improve the current quality, smooth the output power injected into the electric grid, improve the dynamic behavior of the AG under corresponding voltage drop, and keep the AG connected to the electric grid, an intelligent control scheme is used. Simulations were performed using Matlab software, and the results showed the effectiveness of our intelligent control compared to the classical strategy.
