The Relationship between Media Literacy and Information Systems Acceptance with the Mediating Role of Psychological Flexibility in Sib and Suran High School Teachers
The present study was conducted with the aim of the relationship between media literacy and acceptance of information systems with the mediating role of psychological flexibility in secondary school teachers. Descriptive and correlational method and the statistical population includes all middle school teachers teaching in Sib and Soran cities in the academic year 1401-1400 (260 first and 180 second secondary). Based on the table of Karjesi and Morgan, the sample number of 205 people was selected as a sample and completed the electronic form of the psychological flexibility questionnaires of Dennis and Vanderwaal (2010), acceptance of information systems by Faraji et al. Data analysis was done with spss software version 21 and descriptive statistics indicators (prevalence, percentage, mean and standard deviation) and Pearson's correlation coefficient and at the inferential level with path analysis in Imus software. The results showed: 1- There was a significant relationship between media literacy and the acceptance of information systems among secondary school teachers in Sib and Soran cities. 2- There was a significant relationship between psychological flexibility and acceptance of information systems among secondary school teachers in Sib and Soran cities. 3- In response to the research question, psychological flexibility had a mediating role in the relationship between the components of media literacy (understanding the content of media messages and consciously choosing media messages) with teachers' acceptance of information systems. Considering the findings, it is recommended to pay attention to the foundation of psychological flexibility in line with media literacy and acceptance of teachers' information systems.
