Exploring the low work culture among young people - in search of a theory
This research has been done with the aim of analyzing the low work culture among young people and formulating a theory in this field, using a mixed quantitative and qualitative methodology. In this research, at first, to extract the variables, the metacombination method was used according to the method of Sandelowski and Barroso (2007). In the next step, using the Delphi technique, data collection tools were prepared. After preparing the tools prepared in the Delphi phase, variables were identified and categorized using factor analysis. In the next step, a focus group was held to compile the experimental model and how the variables are related to each other. In the quantitative stage, using Cochran's formula, the number of 96 people among the elites was estimated as a statistical sample and studied by stratified random sampling with proportional assignment. In the qualitative phase, 16 people were selected as participants for Delphi and 6 people were selected as participants for the focus group using the snowball sampling method. Using the factor analysis technique, the areas of low work culture among the youth of Ilam province were categorized. The results of the focus group also showed that political, economic and social injustice is the most important factor that has influenced the low work culture among the youth of the province. In this study, the researcher has proposed the theory of competence Injustice regarding the low work culture among young people. Therefore, it is necessary that the managers of the province, representatives of the Islamic Council and other officials related to the issue pay attention to the lack of competence and do not simply pass by these cases.
