The relationship between emotional intelligence, self concept and job satisfaction among employees of Welfare Organization in Northern Khorasan
Emotional intelligence can be the most important factor in personal and job success. The study aims to find the relationship between Emotional intelligence and job Self concept with job satisfaction among the men and women personnel of welfare department in northern khorasan. Materials & Methods For this purpose, 50 male and 50 female employees of welfare department in north khorasan were chosen as participants. In this study the standard questionnaire related to Emotional intelligence of Bar On, standard questionnaire of job satisfaction of Barry Fildors, and self questionnaire of Bek were used. The collected data were analyzed through paired t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. Results indicate that there were meaningful relationship between Emotional intelligence and job satisfaction; there were meaningful relationship between Emotional intelligence and self-concept. But there were not any meaningful relationship between self concept and job satisfaction. There was significant difference between male and female employee's Emotional intelligence. There was significant difference between male and female employee's job satisfaction. There was meaningful difference between male and female employee's self-concept. Emotional intelligence is an indispensable factor for job satisfaction and positive self concept, and with providing the necessary training to enhance emotional intelligence of personal we can impact on job satisfaction and self-concept.
