Investigating the role of facilities and credits of Bank Keshavarzi (agriculture bank) on agronomy, livestock, and horticulture development in Kangavar Township
One of the most important issues related to the agricultural sector is the lake of farmer’s capital which has always been one of the factors limiting the growth of this sector. The proper management of credits can play an important role in the growth of the agricultural sector and contribute to national development. This study has been conducted to investigate the role of facilities and credits of Bank Keshavarzi (agriculture bank) on agronomy development in Kangavar Township. The study population consisted of all villagers that used facilities and credits of Bank Keshavarzi (in years 2011-2017; N=1000) which by using multi-stage sampling 213 of them were selected. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The face and content validity of the questionnaire had been confirmed by a panel of experts and key informants before the pre-test stage. The reliability of the instrument was assessed by conducting a pilot study among 30 samples out of the original sample. The reliability of instrument for the all sections based on Cronbach's alpha coefficients value (0.65- 0.87) shows an acceptable level of internal consistency. The SPSS software was used for data analysis. The results of the correlation analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between annual income and annual agricultural income with agronomy sector development and there was a positive and significant correlation between facilities and credits of |Bank Keshavarzi with agronomy sector development. However, the results of the correlation analysis showed that there wasn’t a significant correlation between facilities and credits of Bank Keshavarzi with livestock and horticulture development.
