Abstract:
The present study was conducted with the aim of validating the model of integration of local native games in the primary school curricula, using a survey method. Its statistical population included teachers of primary schools in Gachsaran, Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad. The sample size was determined to include 200 people who were selected via cluster random sampling. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was estimated by calculating the content validity indexes (CVR and CVI). The reliability of the questionnaire was also confirmed through implementation of Cronbach's alpha. The data were analyzed by using Spss-22 and Smart PLS-3 with partial least square tests and confirmatory factor analysis. In the external evaluation stage or the measurement model, the validity of the model was measured and confirmed by calculating the construct validity, convergent validity and divergent validity, and reliability of the model with composite reliability indices and Cronbach's alpha. Also, the internal (structural) model was also evaluated and confirmed by calculating the significance coefficients Z (t values), Aston-Geisser index and coefficient of determination. In examining the overall fit of the model, GOF=0.60 and SRMR=0.205, which show that the model has a good fit. Therefore, it can be said with confidence that the model of integrating local native games in the primary school curricula is highly reliable
