Abstract:

This article is an attempt to recognizing the place of Ovhadi Maragheei in a kind of lyric writing as: "Qalandariyat" and “Malamati literature”. For this purpose, the accuracy and study of Divan Ovhadi proves that in addition to dealing with the simple themes of Malamati literature such as: fighting against the ego, disregarding whether people praise or condemn, Freedom from worldly attachments, emphasis on honesty and sincerity and etc, he has a special insistence on the most extreme and reckless of this kind themes. Also, the study of other works of Ovhadi, such as the Masnavi "Jam Jam" and Qasead of his Divan, shows that these themes raised in his sonnets are more to reach the Malamati motivations and have a metaphorical and poetic aspect rather than retelling the reality of his situation. Also, if we consider Malamatieh's works as emerging from two internal and individual or external and social motives, the analysis of Ovhadi's sonnets shows that in dealing with Malamati literature, his tendency is more towards external and social motives than internal motives.
