Investigating the Relationship between Job Motivation and Citizenship Behavior of Khatam Al-Anbia Air Defense University Staff (PBUH)

Abstract:
Organizational researchers have concluded that some employees contribute to the improvement or efficiency of their organization by fulfilling responsibilities beyond the tasks assigned to them in their job (organizational citizen behavior) and that understanding motivation can serve as a valuable tool for identifying causes of behavior in organizations and predicting effects. Apply managerial measures. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the effect of job motivation on organizational citizenship behavior of employees of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense University (PBUH). After preparing a researcher-made questionnaire and checking its validity and reliability, the Cronbach's alpha level was more than 0.7, the questionnaire was distributed among 127 people in the statistical population as a sample. Using multiple regression, the relationship between independent variables (internal process motivation, instrumental motivation, external autoprocessor motivation, internal autoprocessor motivation, goal internalization motivation) and a dependent variable (organizational citizenship behavior) was examined. The results showed that only the relationship between internal process motivation and instrumental motivation with organizational citizenship behavior is significant and no significant relationship was found between external autoprocessor motivation, internal autoprocessor motivation and goal internalization motivation with organizational citizenship behavior.
