Develop and validate a training package to coping with job stress: Phenomenology method

Abstract:
Workers' working conditions and environment gradually cause physical and psychological disorders in them, which lack of timely and useful awareness and intervention can have adverse consequences for this working class and their families and reduce the level of organizational productivity; Therefore, interventions that are specific to these workers to reduce job stress, play an important role in promoting their physical and mental health; Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an educational package to coping with job stress and its validation.Qualitative research method of phenomenological type and research community of all employees who worked in the technical departments of Tom Kar Company in Isfahan.Samples were purposefully selected from them for semi-structured interviews. Finally the sample size was saturated with 34 people and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi’s thematic method. From the results of qualitative section 7, the main code (anxiety, depression, low emotional intelligence, dysfunctional coping strategies, cognitive problems, weak social skills and weak religious beliefs) was obtained and the training package for coping with job stress was adjusted based on these dimensions. Its validity was confirmed based on the approval of experts and the coefficient of agreement of the evaluators, which was 0.91. Due to the fact that employees in the industrial sector face a lot of job stress, industrial consultants and managers can use the training package developed to deal with job stress and improve the level of psychological health of these people.
