A process model in conflict management, using the verses of the Quran

Differences in people's attitudes, tastes and beliefs make the emergence of differences in human relations inevitable, and indifference and lack of familiarity with the correct way of dealing with conflicts can cause irreparable damages. Based on this, it is necessary and important to know the effective measures to prevent or resolve disputes in the form of "conflict management". Since the Holy Qur'an is the most important source of study for the Islamic society, in the present study an attempt has been made to answer the question that; How is the process of conflict management from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an? Using the method of theme analysis and digging into the Holy Qur'an, the verses related to the subject should be identified and extracted. The findings of the research showed that conflict management from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an is a process that includes two stages before and after creating a conflict. In the pre-conflict stage, people need self-improvement to deal with ego and satanic provocations, and to gain knowledge of the inherent differences between people. And in the stage after creating a conflict, sequential strategies such as; Ignoring, focusing on commonalities, inviting to dialogue, referring to arbitration and finally insisting on vote and opinion should be taken into consideration. The results of the research show that the sequential navigation of the process steps introduced for conflict management can be a reliable and methodical tool for dealing with interpersonal and group disputes and conflicts.
