Evaluating the efficiency of Bank Mellat branches using leader-follower models and multi-period models
Evaluation of banks' performance based on criteria such as efficiency and real effects of economic policies in this field has always been in the focus of scientific and applied research. The main purpose of this research is to use a multi-period model of financial efficiency evaluation based on the integration of the data envelopment analysis approach in the mathematical modeling of the production function and the network approach based on the leader-follower model, in order to evaluate the level of financial efficiency of Bank Mellat branches in line with Achieving stable performance in the bank is evaluated. In the beginning of the chapter, the inputs used and the production outputs of bank branches were identified. The time frame of the research was 2014 to 2023. In the next stage, after designing a multi-period model for evaluating the financial efficiency of Bank Mellat branches based on the leader-follower approach, a multi-period evaluation of the financial efficiency of 100 Bank Mellat branches throughout Isfahan province based on a combination of the mathematical results of data coverage analysis, Network analysis and dynamic analysis were done.
