Abstract:
Today, durability, lower cost and long life of pavement, play a very important role in choosing the type of pavement. In this research, with Abacus finite element software, a type of pavement called perpetual pavement is modeled, then by making the rate of changes in design parameters, which are: layer thickness, Poisson's coefficient and Young's modulus, in 3 The cross-sectional asphalt layer is tested on strain and stress at two different times of 0.1 and 0.164 seconds in 96 different models. The software data are analyzed by multivariate regression model and stepwise method and the final equation for strain and stress is reached which has a suitable correlation coefficient. The results show that in the strain mode, the change in thickness of the first to third layers, the Poisson coefficient of the first and third layers as well as the Young modulus of the second layer are at a significant level. For the stress state, the change in the thickness of the first layer, the Poisson's ratio of the first layer as well as the Young's modulus of the first to third layers are at a significant level for the stress.
