Evaluating a Model to Reduce the Gap Between Training and Professional Behavior of Employees
The most important capital of any organization is its human resources, which is one of the best tools to institutionalize professional behavior in employees. But according to the research, there is a gap between the training provided in the training centers and the professional behavior expected of the police officers in the real work environment. The purpose of the current research is to design, evaluate and validate the model in order to reduce the gap between in-service training and professional behavior in Faraja employees. This research is applied in terms of purpose and mixed in terms of execution method. The statistical population includes the commanders and non-commissioned officers of Isfahan police stations, which were sampled using a purposeful criterionbased method. In the qualitative part, data was first collected using the interview tool, the data was analyzed with thematic analysis method, and the dimensions of the gap were identified. Then, in the quantitative section, the relationship between the dimensions and components was determined using the Dimetal technique. At the end of the research, the conceptual model was drawn and the validity of the model was evaluated, that the model had a good fit and the validity of the model was confirmed . The analysis of the data obtained from the interviews, which included 368 indicators, 67 components and 3 dimensions (theme), showed that one of the reasons for the gap was the lack of formation of the necessary skills in the training course, which includes three main dimensions, including: skills It is operational, behavioral skills and specializedprofessional skills. From the point of view of the experts, in order to reduce the mentioned gap, it is necessary to focus on improving the skills of the employees during the in-service training period and make the necessary and necessary changes.
