Evaluating the effectiveness of the doctoral course in educational management from point of view of the graduates
The purpose of the current research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the doctoral course in educational management in public universities.
This research is of mixed type. The research in an applied research in terms of the purpose of research. In the qualitative part, the interview method was used to determine the effectiveness evaluation indicators. The statistical population for the interview section included professors of doctoral course in educational management. In the quantitative part, the statistical population included doctoral graduates of educational management, and the statistical sample included 36 doctoral graduates during the years 1395 to 1400, who were selected by census method. In this section, a researcher-made questionnaire from the qualitative part of the research was used to collect data, and it was used to determine the validity of the questionnaire from the experts' point of view. For this purpose, its formal and content validity was confirmed by the supervisors and advisors. To analyze the quantitative data obtained from the questionnaire, descriptive methods were used, including frequency tables, percentages, etc., and inferential statistics methods were used, including one-sample T-test, using SPSS22 software.
The results obtained from the research showed that from the perspective graduates, the effectiveness of the doctoral course in educational management in each of the components related to the educational course, including input, process, product, output, and outcome, was above the average level.
In general, the doctoral course in educational management was relatively effective.
