Self-learning requires motivation that does not boil by itself and that each person acquires according to internal knowledge and external factors. The purpose of this research is to prove the relationship between emotional intelligence and the sense of motivation in learning practical lessons. This category is directly related to success in education, and even how students live in the future. Most people learn subjects through their emotional intelligence, as a result, it can be seen that by examining the relationship between these two subjects, it can be used to strengthen the sense of motivation for learning in the practical courses of architecture. Therefore, the statistical population of art and architecture students of Azad University of Rodhan branch was used to sample the statistical population, which was 400 people and was calculated based on Fidel and Tabachingpish formula, and 70 people were selected by random sampling method. The method of conducting this research is applied and correlational. which is used to collect data from the performance self-assessment questionnaire and from the software. spss was used for data analysis and as a result, it was measured and evaluated based on the indicators in the regression tables. The research results showed that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and motivation to learn in practical courses. So it can be seen that students who have higher emotional intelligence have more initiative in learning and implementing their ideas. As a result, it can be seen that emotional intelligence is one of the important factors for better learning of practical courses in the field of architecture.
