Presenting a Crisis-Oriented pharmaceutical Cold Logistics Management Model in Encountering with Maritime Crises: A Mixed-Method Design
The current research was conducted with the aim of providing a model of cold medical logistics management during a crisis in dealing with maritime crises. This research is applied in terms of purpose, exploratory-descriptive in nature, and mixed in terms of method. The statistical population of the research is academic and military experts in the field of supply chain management and maritime crisis management, 20 people were selected as a sample in the qualitative part using the targeted sampling method and 120 people were selected as samples in the quantitative part using the available method. The data collection tool is a semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and a questionnaire in the quantitative part. Also, the analysis of the research data was done in the qualitative part with thematic analysis method and in the quantitative part with the partial least square (PLS) structural equation method. The findings of the research showed that the management of cold pharmaceutical logistics during a crisis includes the main themes of the application of emerging technologies, information and communication management, pharmaceutical supply and distribution management, quality and trust management, and pharmaceutical supply chain audit. Based on the quantitative findings, the structural model of the research was approved and it has sufficient validity according to the quality indicators. Finally, the results of ranking research dimensions based on Friedman's test showed that the application of emerging technologies in marine crisis management has the highest importance and pharmaceutical supply chain audit has the lowest priority in maritime crisis management.
