Examining the relationship between personality types A, B and attachment styles with emotional intelligence of Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous, whose main problem in life was drugs, their dream is that one day every addict in the world will have the opportunity to experience a new way in life. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between personality types B, A and attachment styles with emotional intelligence of Narcotics Anonymous in Mashhad. This research was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all drug addicts anonymous who participated in Mashhad's support group in 1401, of which 66 people were selected by available sampling method. To measure the variables, Bortner's A and B personality type questionnaire, Hazan and Shaver's (1987) attachment style questionnaire and Baron's emotional intelligence questionnaire were used. The data analysis method was performed using Pearson correlation and regression with the help of spss-26 software. The results of the step-by-step regression showed that emotional intelligence can be predicted through ambivalent attachment style and personality types (P < 0.05). Also, there is an inverse relationship between personality type A and emotional intelligence (r = -0.31 and between type There is a direct relationship between personality B and emotional intelligence (r = -0.30). Also, there is a direct relationship between secure attachment style and emotional intelligence (r = -0.27) and between avoidant attachment style and emotional intelligence (r = 0.11). =- and there is an inverse relationship between the ambivalent-anxiety attachment style and emotional intelligence (r = 0.51).
