The Importance-Performance Analysis of knowledge management implementation enablers: A case study
The purpose of this research is to identify and rank the enablers of implementing knowledge management in the Pars MCS Company. For this purpose, the importance-performance analysis approach has been used. First, by literature review, knowledge management implementation enablers including 7 factors of organizational structure, organizational culture, information technology, strategic approach, people, commitment and management support, and human resource management have been identified. Then the importance and performance of these factors have been evaluated. To determine the importance of enablers, the analytic hierarchy process approach and the opinion of 5 academic experts have been used, and to determine their performance, the opinion of 11 managers and supervisors of Pars MCS Company has been used. Finally, the enablers were categorized by the importance-performance approach. The results showed that the factors of organizational culture and commitment and management support are in the area of excellent status, and it is recommended to continue and maintain their current status. Also, the factors of human resources management and strategic approach are located in the critical area, and the attention and investment of the company in these factors is recommended.
