The Role of Technical and Vocational Education In the Development of Self-employment: A case Study of Semnan Province

Since one of the most important social and economic factors in each society is to train skilled Human resources and technical and Vocational education is one of the methods of training skilled human force; therefore, the knowledge and experience of graduates must be in such a way as to obtain employment opportunity very easily in the market place.This article, which is extracted from a detailed study, deals with the role of technical and Vocational education in the development of self employment in Semnan Province. The results of the study indicate that technical and vocational education can create enormous employment opportunities for graduates. It then goes to make suggestions based on results of study for sustainable employment opportunities in Semnan Province.
