Abstract:

Since the 1990s, a new wave of integrating democracy into the international relations has begun (theory of democratic peace, democratization, new order…). ; One of the main theories propounded by David Held is cosmopolitan democracy. It tries to apply inherently national democratic processes to existing mechanisms in the international organizations or even international relations. This article addresses the question that whether it is possible to make such a claim. ;
