Analyzing of Students Requirements from Student Relationship Management System (SRMS): Faculty of Management Tehran University

Abstract:
For many companies, it is necessary to analyze and satisfy their stakeholder needs. Customer Relationship management (CRM) is a powerful tool for analyzing and satisfying the customer need. And information and communication technology (ICT) can be useful. Students are the most important stakeholders in universities, in other word, they are the customers of universities and long term relationship with them is very important. So many universities are interested in student relationship management system (SRMS). Analyzing the student needs is the first step for implementation of such systems. The contribution of the paper is the combination of Student relationship lifecycle (SRLC) and Ian Chasten Model for Identifying and classification of students needs from SRMS and it is devided into three Categories: Informational, Transactional and relational needs.
