Decision Support Systems Classification and Their Application in Organization

Managers constantly are looking for tools so that they can improve their analyses of what happens in organization thus they will be able to use the best possible means. Furthermore as the data in the organization increases the complexity of data for taking the right decision increases too. The tool that can help management to overcome this problem is the decision support system. It means that a system for helping the right decision in the framework of that organ or organization will be designed to analyze the business data and to present its results. Therefore in this article five main groups of these systems are presented and the characteristics and the application of each in police domain is discussed. The main message of this approach is that in the information management domain, the decision support system suitable for organization need can help managers in taking effective decision through exact analysis of data.
