A model for environmental impact assessment of oil refinery

Abstract:
Environmental Impact Assessment in its simplest forms, a tool for planning and included an inseparable part of decisions. As a planning tool, provides suitable for field data collection and decision-making. Environmental Impact Assessment as a process can predict the environmental consequences of development projects to be used and potential environmental problems in the process of planning, design and implementation to determine. Considering the increasing diversity and development projects in Iran''s oil industry in order to achieve accurate results and analysis capabilities, using a software system for environmental impact assessment process was considered in design and operation. In this context, with the help of software while entering information related to environmental activities related to design-process can be implemented and examined operational results in the form of charts. The software has been considered in all different parts of the environment include the physical, chemical, biological, economic, social and cultural activities in the next section the design and operation of oil refineries. The results indicated the environmental consequences of design are desired. In this context environmental impact assessment software oil refinery are presented in the oil industry needs and existing problems. Software capable of deciding on appropriate environmental issues refinery offers. Oil refinery is considered as an essential part of the oil industry. Therefore, any environmental impacts resulting from activities of the various aspects of oil refinery and its effects on the present and the future is very important. For this purpose, Tehran''s oil refinery considered as a case study was selected to be operational aspects of software. On the other hand the results that can increase the decision-making desired power related to the refinery.
