Salvation from the viewpoint of Christianity and Islam

The article discusses the issue of salvation and prosperity, its facilitators and obstacles from the two major monoist religions perspective, Islam and Christianity. Christianity sees salvation as a mean to purify the man from the sins and considers “faith” and “sacrifice” as facilitators and “sin” and “Sharia” (set of religious rules) as obstacles to salvation.But Islam regards salvation as a mean to free man from all physical and spiritual pains and difficulties of the hereafter. “Faith”, “good deeds”, “repentance” and “intercession” are facilitators and “sins”, “atheism” and “hypocrisy” are considered as obstacles to salvation.
