A Critical Study of the Pluralism of Truth in the Light of the Qur an

Religious pluralism has already changed into one of the major concerns of modern theology. This issue is of much interest for us because some Muslim intellectuals claim that religious pluralism is vindicated by some verses of the Glorious Qur’an.Religious pluralism appears into two different kinds: the pluralism of truth (that all religions are true) and that of salvation (that the followers of all religion can reach salvation). Pluralism in social transaction (social tolerance), however, is one chapter of this concern.According to the Glorious Qur’an, Islam is the best and foremost religion among all in which the Right Path is confined. In what follows, the author has gone to critically reassess comparatively the pluralism of truth to be rejected in the light of the Qur’an and many traditions.
