REVIEW & ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH-SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES OF DEPARTMENT OF ARABIC LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE IN IRAN

Abstract:
Qualitative and quantitative assessment of research articles of a scientific center elevates its status not only in generating education of a country rather it is effective optimum planning and policymaking with respect to science and research. With a review of qualitative and quantitative weakness and strength, the present paper distinguishes the place of this domain in the scientific output of Iran. This is a descriptive analytical study and was analyzed with SPSS. Here, 10 scientific journals, published between 2003 and 2007 were considered and 314 out of 1312 articles were extracted in Arabic language. The result shows that the proportion of articles related to this branch is 23/93% and this percent varied between different journals 5/5% & 100%. In This study, a journal of Faculty of Humanities of the University of Tehran with 71 articles had highest ratio and journal of Faculty of Humanities of the University of Tabriz has the least ratio. Collective cooperation between author shows that they inclined towards one and two persons. But collective cooperation had a rising trend from 2003 to 2007.
