The Sky in mythological Iranian Believes

Myth of Beginning is systematic and regulated in ancient Iranian believes. Creation on this basis has good and heavenly foundations. On this basis, whatever is created has inseparable link to other creatures. Therefore, its creation is necessary so that it will complete a system whose goal is to combat against bad and Ahrimanic i.e. Satanic creations. On this basis, the creation of the sky and stars are necessary to complete a chain in order to fight against Ahriman and his bad creations. Therefore, creation is not only a heavenly creation but also itself is an Izad (worthy of worship). For this fight, Ahriman, polluted the sky, like other heavenly creations with badness and darkness. This darkness in the sky were planets and comets. Sky in the view of ancient Persians is the first material being created. It is firm, column-less, round, with a number of layers and endless.
