Fields of growing of philosophy and theology in Samanids Era

Abstract:
Samanid state (261-389 A.H.) had an important and persistent role in growing and flourishing of Indian-Islamic culture and civilization. One of the most flourishing times of Islamic theology and philosophy occurred in Samanid era, so this paper is to examine the Samanid rulers’ educational, intellectual and cultural bases and also Samanid political, social, economical and administrative structure in order to recognize accordingly Samanids’ role in creating essential field for growing philosophy and theology in this era of the history of Khurasan and Transoxania.
