Folklore in Nasser Khosrow's Poems

Author(s):
Abstract:
With his deep religious beliefs and the cultural and intellectual change that occurred in his personality, Nasser Khosrow has nothing to do with the glitterati of his time, such as jurisprudents, poets, artists and rulers. Instead, he goes to the public to present his religious and philosophical teachings.In his journeys, he is in contact with laymen and this is reflected in different ways in his popular allegories and the names of various animals and plants. His tone, laden with advice and benevolence, also indicates the poet’s understanding of his audience in exposing his intellectual and literary messages.
