The Scientific Character and Social-Political Thoughts of Mirdamad
Abstract:
Mirdamad is one of the scientists, jurists, and prominent leaders of Twelvers in the period of Shah Abbas Safavi. In the present article, it has been investigated the new aspects of diversity of his states, thoughts, and political-social ideas. The religion and scientific position of him had made him contribute in the issues of Iran and world of Islam and present some guides for the solution of problems. The belief in the theologian instructions of Imamate had made him not give legitimacy to Safavit kingdom; while through relying on jurisprudent bases and to the extent of his power, he did his best in his religious and political duties.
