A Critique of Khaqani's Imagery

Abstract:
This article studies two issues: one is imagery, the other Khaqani's poetry. The first part deals with the imagery itself, the concept and the content, its difference with rationalization and illusion, their common point and the value of each as well as the origin of imagery, its techniques and some of its conditions. The second part tries to evaluate Khqani's poetry and its techniques according to the presented criteria.
