Abstract:

The importance of cardiac biomarkers in the prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndrome is clear. However، measurement of cardiac biomarkers after percutaneous coronary intervention (PÇÏ) is controversial. Ïn this review we have discussed the impact of increased cardiac biomarkers after elective PÇÏ on the prognosis of patients. Âlso، the definition of myocardial infarction related to PÇÏ، the mechanisms of increasing of cardiac biomarkers after PÇÏ and its horizons have been discussed.
