Religious Appetite in Mustafa Sadiq al-Rafii

Mustapha Sadiq al-Rafi''i is an Egyptian poet and man of letters in 19th century the main themes of his poems and works being Quranic-religious notions. The present essay attempts to present a brief report of his life، generation of his personality، and the rate of influence of social environment upon him. Introducing his major work، which are mostly of religious tendency indicating explicit and implicit influence of the Quran and religious concepts upon him، are taken into consideration as well.
