Anima in Sepehri's "HashtKetab"

Message:
Abstract:
In his psychological view، Jung uses important terms like unconsciousness، introversion، extroversion، and archetypal images، all of which are taken into account in modern literary criticism especially psychological and literary criticism. Jung calls the external attitude and character persona or mask. Yet، he believed that people also have an internal character، i. e. the unconscious world. Jung uses the word anima to refer to the unconscious female aspects of a man\''s character and the word animus to refer to the male aspects of a woman\''s character. Anima does not represent a certain woman. The ancient model consists of all the ancestral effects that constitute femaleness. SohrabSepehri is an influential poet in Persian literature. Thanks to the mythological nature of his poetry and the domination of his idealistic poetry in the dialectical interaction with non-idealistic poetry، his poetry is in a volatile semantic halo which moves from Epos to mythos. In this direction، the poet moves towards his unconscious mind and is under the impression of his internal beloved (anima). The present article studies the images of anima in one of his works: HashtKetab.
