A Comparative Study on the Job Stress of Physical Education Teachers in Rahnamayee Level of Schools

Abstract:
Basic objectives of the present study are to compare extend of job stress among teachers in order to their gender, teaching experience, type of school and teaching area. Descriptive research method was employed and 172 teachers (87 female and 85 male) were chosen by clustered – categorical and random techniques of sampling. Tool used to collect relevant data was William Dayer job stress questionnaire. Statistic methods used to analyses of data were one- sample t-test, independent-samples t-test, F-test and Tukey Post Hoc test. Findings revealed that physical education teachers suffering from high job stress. Results also figures out that female teachers and teachers working in rural and far areas from the center suffer more than male teachers and the teachers working in better area but results did not show statistically significant difference between job stress among teachers with different experience and types of school in which they teach.
