Designing the Model of Corporate Entrepreneurship Based on the Relationship between Corporate Strategy and Dimensions of Corporate Entrepreneurial Orientations in Physical Education Organization

Abstract:
This research was conducted to provide a desired pattern based on the relationship between entrepreneurial strategy and the dimensions of corporate entrepreneurial orientations in Physical Education Organization. Predictive variables were entrepreneurial strategy components (intensity of environmental investigation, flexibility of planning, planning vision, planning focus and control) and the criterion variables were dimensions of corporate entrepreneurial orientations (innovation, risk taking, independence, aggressive competition and leading in the market). The statistical population of the study consisted of all staff and managers of this organization and the sample consisted of 202 subjects. Two researcher-made questionnaires of corporate entrepreneurial strategy (α=0.90) and corporate entrepreneurial orientations (α=0.99) were used to collect the data. To investigate the validity of the questionnaires, factor analysis was used and to analyze the data, descriptive statistics, multivariate and univariate regressions and one group t test were used and finally LISREL software was applied to provide the suitable pattern. The findings showed that Physical Education Organization used a low level of corporate entrepreneurial strategy and entrepreneurial orientations. There was a positive and significant relationship between corporate strategy and corporate entrepreneurial orientations (α<0.01). From the viewpoints of the subjects, ‘planning less than one year’ was above the average level and ‘planning for more than five years’ was under the average level. The findings also indicated that ‘concentration on planning stages’ was only accomplished at the higher levels of the organization. It can be concluded that Physical Education Organization was in a non-entrepreneurial status.
