Investigation the Feasibility of Implementing Electronic Reference Services In the Central Library and Documentation Center

The present paper studies the feasibility of implementing electronic reference services in the Central Library and Documentation Center of University of Tehran [CENLIB]. A user-centered approach was implemented based on descriptive method through the use of researcher-developed questionnaire. Samples were drawn from postgraduate student's members of CENLIB. Results indicate that users who have access to ICT, because of their relative familiarity with ICT-based services, are more inclined towards electronic reference services.
