Optimization of Building Orientations in Saqqez Based on Climatic Conditions

Message:
Abstract:

Saqqez، located in a specific geographical area with its own topographical and climatic conditions، has a cool climate. With long-lasting frosts، the town has imposed harsh bio-climatological circumstances on the residents. On the basis of the results derived from the building thermal request، it was determined that the weather in Saqqez is definitely cold about 43. 7 percent of the year، and there is a moderate comfort in the shade only about 11. 1 percent of the year، and only 20. 8 percent of the year، one may enjoy fine weather in the sun. Therefore، for maximum utilization of such environmental conditions in designing building direction، different types of yard and passages were drawn on the diagram. The optimum location of the yard was found to be east – south with an inclination to west- south direction. The specific coefficient of materials is 0. 8 and 1. 33 according to calculating methods employed. To this end، the question which arises would be: Are the structural aspects of turpentine compatible with the climatic conditions of the region?
