Author(s):
Abstract:
Security or insecurity in any era is a function of the quality of social life. In modern time, states were both the reference and the source of security of human beings. In the most recent time, globalization seems to have exerted a huge impact on the integrity of nation-states and everyday life of citizens all throughout the world. Hence, a major consequence has been the change in the citizen's feeling and attitude about political security. This paper, looking from the window of globalization of culture and utilizing a survey method, tries to investigate the relationship between globalization and the feeling of political security in the youth of the city of Shiraz. Our findings reveal that respondent's attitude towards women's human rights and their social-cultural alienation have played the most negative role in the change of the structure of their feeling towards political security.
