A Survey on t he Avoidance of Risky Driving Behavior by Motorists in the City to Tabriz and Its Effective Factors

Dangerous behaviors in driving is one of the most important factors of driving accidents which are the second cause of deaths and the first cause of reduction of normal life period. In present research “we have considered the effective cause of dangerous behaviors of urban drivers. The method of this research is survey and our statistical sample is 400 urban drivers in Tabriz. Which have been selected by Stratified sampling method? Independent variable data (dangerous driving accidents) have been obtained by researcher made questionnaire and dependent variable has been obtained by standard questionnaire of driving habits that have been codified by Obright Gholadel and Ghaboude in France national transit. The results indicate that social capital and type of vehicles have significant relation with dangerous driving behaviors and among personal characteristics “gender and age have important in influency on dangerous driving behaviors.
