Identified and Analyses Geomorphological forms Due to Salt Domes Evolution (Case Study: Corsia Salt Dome, Darab Region)

Salt domes are one of the landforms and Interesting landscape of the nature. This feature has unique properties and from the view point of Geomorphology, it has significant importance. Salt domes have formed by penetrating in cap Sedimentary rock and bringing to the surface earth. This formation is because of that rock salt has lower density than the cap rock, and due to tectonic forces and Viscoplastic property of salt. Corsia salt dome is one of the landforms, which located in the southeast of the Fars province and the north of Darab plain. This salt dome has changed over time by effect of internal and external factors.
