Abstract:
The main purpose of this research was the comparatuive study of education dimensions according to empiricism and constructivism approaches and to determine the Bu Ali Sina university faculty members tendency toward each of these approaches. The reaserch method was descriptive-analytical and survey one. the statistical population included all 111 faculty members of humanities and economic and social sciences college of Bu Ali Sina university.using simple random sampling method 86 faculty member selected as statistical sample. The data gathering instrument was researcher made questionnaire that Using cronbach alpha coefficient its reliability computed about./94.The statistical methods were descripthve statistics indices one sample and independent T test.Findings showed that There was differences between empiricism and constructivism approaches teachings about the essence of education dimension (goals, knowledge, learning, method, content, motive and evaluation), and Bu Ali Sina university faculty member have tendency to constructivism approach.
