Formulation of Macro Goals, Policies and Strategies for the Development of Physical Education in I.R. Iran's Armed Forces

The main goal of this research is to formulate macro goals, policies and strategies for developing physical education and sports in I.R. Iran’s armed forces. In order to achieve this goal, after examining the current situation, doing qualitative interviews and a comparative study on selected countries (10 countries), it has been tried to determine a preliminary list of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of physical education in the armed forces. Investigations showed that physical education in a strategic offensive position in the armed forces. The findings of the research (based on scientific evidence and survey methodology) from Azeris, Kurds, Arabs and Baluchi ethnic groups have contradicted this misconception that ethnic community is divergent and doesn’t cooperate and interact with country’s macro-level management, and emphasizes their readiness to deal with the enemies. At the same time, the study suggests that the position of each ethnic group and the amount of their desire to participate in the integration with the government is different.
