Relationship between procrastination with perfectionism and self-efficacy in public hospital's staff of Farashband City

Responsible and efficient manpower is considered as the most important capital of an organization, and also plays an important role in achieving the goals of an oganization. The organizations with procrastinator staffs will face difficulties achieving standard level of development and performance. The aim of this study was tosurvey the relationship between procrastination with perfectionism and self-efficacy among staffs of public hospitals of Farashband city. Participants were 150 employees (90 males and 60 females) selected randomly from public hospitals of Farashband city. Participants answered Schwazer and et al questionnaire (2000), Najarian and colleague's perfectionism questionnaire (1378) and Sherer and colleagues self-efficacy questionnaire (1982). The Data were analyzed through Pearson correlation, analysis of variance and multiple regression statistical methods. Results showed that there is a significant Correlation between procrastination of employees working with perfectionism (r= 0/598, P<0/01) and self-efficacy (r= -0/358, P<0/01); Also there were significant difference among the working men and women in procrastination (t= 2/37, P<0/01); But there was no significant difference between male and female employees in perfectionism and self-efficacy (P>0/05). by adjusting perfectionism and increasing self-efficacy it could be possible to decrease procrastination among the administrative staff and achieve more efficiency.
