A comparison between King Lear and the story of Fereydun

In the present paper the story of Fereydun and King Lear have been studied considering the story elements of each story. Clear rationale that explains the comparison of these two stories is the joint decisions that both kings made for their lands. Following this decision، battles and events occurred that reveals the fate of each character in the story that is the notable and significant point of both stories. This review is independent of the epic، mythological، historical and literary aspects or the perspective of the influence and effect of nations’ literature on each other. Our approach is to compare the two stories based on plans، characters، events and their highlights.
