Research on a Variety of Poetic Words A Case Study: The Study of Rahi Moayeri, Hushang Ebtehaj, and Fereydoon Moshiri's Poems

Statistical stylistics has helped the systematic and scientific study of literary research considerably. The lexical wealth a poet or writer applies in his or her work is considered as features of the style and structure of a literary work. One of the methods used for identifying the lexical wealth is Johnson's Theory. Using statistics and an interdisciplinary approach, this method follows to approach more accuracy and precision. In this paper, it has been tried to study the issue of words variation in poetic style of Rahi Moayeri, Hushang Ebtehaj and Fereydoon Moshiri using Johnson's quantitative method. At the end of the research, it was determined that the poetic style of Rahi Moayeri had a more lexical variation than the two other poets. In addition, the poetic style of Fereydoon Moshiri had a more lexical variation than that of Hushang Ebtehaj.
