Abstract:
The presence of foreign governments especially Britain in Birjand had been the result of different factors, the most important of which the geographical and strategical situation of the region, the political competition of colonial powers and internal collusion (wheeling and dealing) of Alam's Family.In this study, it is tried to study the above said factors and the most important measures taken by Britain (England) in the period of their presence in Qaenat emirate.
